David B. Wilson, M.D.
Dr. David Wilson was born and raised in Mayfield, Kentucky. He attended college at Duke University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Wilson completed his training with a fellowship at the University of South Florida in Endocrinology. He has a particular interest in the care and treatment of diabetes management.
Dr. Wilson has practiced Endocrinology for 36 years. He is a member of the Endocrine Society and serves on the medical board of Camp Sweeney for diabetic children. Dr. Wilson has privileges at THR-Methodist Fort Worth Hospital.
Prior to DEATC, Dr. David Wilson served in the US Army for 3 years at the 97th General Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. He has been practicing in Fort Worth for 31 years. Prior to that he lived and practiced in Austin for 6 years.
Dr. Wilson lives in Fort Worth with his wife, who is a retired school teacher. They have 3 grown children and 1 grandchild. He enjoys international travel with family. Dr. Wilson also enjoys learning about and utilizing new technology and keeping up with current events.
Alvin E. Huang, M.D., F. A. C.E.
Dr. Alvin Huang is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated from Rice University in Houston, TX with a degree in Chemistry. This was followed by medical school and internship/residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He completed his training in 2004 with a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Huang spent 14 years in multi-specialty group practice in Plano and Fort Worth, TX before joining DEATC in 2019. He practices general endocrinology, including but not limited to diabetes and glycemic disorders, thyroid disorders, calcium imbalance and osteoporosis, dyslipidemias, adrenal and pituitary disorders, as well as PCOS and male hypogonadism. He also has interest in managing endocrine conditions in pregnancy, for which he has the opportunity to help two (or more) individuals in one visit. His practice philosophy is centered on providing compassionate, personalized care for those in need.
Outside of work, Dr. Huang likes to spend time with his family. He may also be found on a tennis court or at home playing classical piano and violin.
